French Day at the school in Amersham... And this is due to the mischievous character of René Goscinny's book, "Mikołajek," whose adventures children have been reading for the past 3 weeks.


Today, Mikołajek made an appearance at the Polish school, serving as a starting point for children to explore French culture. We discussed what France is renowned for and the famous French individuals we are familiar with...


Of course, French cuisine was one of the first things mentioned, alongside the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre Museum.


Finally, the children created portraits of our class, drawing inspiration from the style of Jean-Jacques Sempé's illustrations, which are featured in the book...
